Inspired by a deeply personal and spiritual reflection, this daunting scene was painted with the intention and hope to invoke in it's observers a meditation on these two questions; "What is my purpose in life?" and "Who am I?" We all have been or will be confronted with these questions as ancient as the human race which have for generations  moved artists to express the gravity of responding. This painting is not meant to answer those questions, but to invite the beholder into the infinte conversation.
